From 2012-2017, he has been the Director of the 'European Patients Academy' (EUPATI), which has developed education about medicines development processes. He is now coordinating the team that takes change of the evolution of EUPATI.
Peter Hohenberger Peter Hohenberger, MD, is Head of the Division of Surgical Oncology and Thoracic Surgery at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, University of Heidelberg (UMM). He is a boarded surgeon in visceral and vascular surgery as well as in thoracic surgery and surgical intensive care.
Panos Kanavos Panos Kanavos (BSc, MSc (Oxon), MSc (LSE), PhD) is Associate Professor in International Health Policy in the Department of Social Policy, London School of Economics (LSE), Deputy Director at LSE Health, and Programme Director of the Medical Technology Research Group (MTRG) at LSE Health.

Ioannis G. Baskozos Ioannis G.Baskozos was born in Athens in 1955. Doctor, Endocrinologist. High School studies at “Varvakios” model school. Graduate of Medical Faculty of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Specialized in Endocrinology in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Department of Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas”.
Christos Antonopoulos Christos Antonopoulos is a board-certified Infectious Diseases physician. He holds an MSc in Clinical Infectious Diseases from Imperial College School of Medicine and PhD in Medicine from Royal Free and University College London Medical School. Soon, he will complete his MBA at the IMD Business School in Switzerland.
Pascal Apostolides Holder of a BSc degree in Chemistry, a BA in Economic Geography and a post graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. He also received a MSc in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Stratchclyde, Glasgow, Scotland.
Kathi Apostolidis Kathi is the Vice President of ECPC-European Cancer Patient Coalition/Belgium and the President of the Hellenic Cancer Federation-ELLOK/Greece.
Vasileios Barmpounis Vasileios Barbounis is from 01-09-2013 a Director of the third Oncology Clinic at «Metropolitan" Hospital.
Ioannis Boukovinas Dr. Ioannis Boukovinas is Medical Oncologist, Head of Oncology Unit, “Bioclinic”, Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a Pharmaceutical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also holds a Ph.D. on “Pharmacogenomics of lung cancer”.
Maria Gazouli Maria Gazouli, PhD, is Associate Professor of Molecular Biology, Medical School National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens Greece. She was admitted as a PhD student at the Biology Department and Medical School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and granted by honored Hellenic Pasteur Institute scholarship.
Chara Kani Chara Kani is currently Head of the Department of Designing and Monitoring of Medicines Dispensing (former Department of Pharmaceutical Policy), Division of Pharmaceutical Products, General Division of Designing and Development of Health Services, E.O.P.Y.Y. (National Organization for Providing Health Services) Head Office.
Giannis Mountzios Dr Giannis Mountzios was born in Larissa, Greece, in 1974. He obtained his medical degree (MD) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1998 with a scholarship from the Greek Ministry of Education and graduated from the Hellenic Military Medical Academy the same year.
Patrina Paparrigopoulou Patrina Paparrigopoulou – Pechlivanidi is a professor of health law and social security law at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association (since 1989) and a lawyer in Areios Pagos (Supreme Civil and Criminal Court) (since 1997). She is married and has two children.
Apostolos Pourtsidis Apostolos Pourtsidis is President of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Hematology - Oncology (HeSPHO), a Member of the SIOPE Clinical Research Council (CRC), a Collaborating member of Expo-R-Net SIOPE and a Collaborating member of EXPERT group for very rare tumors in children and adolescents.
Zenia Saridaki-Zoras Zenia Saridaki – Zoras is a Medical Oncologist and the Scientific Director of the Oncology Department “Asklepios”, situated in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
Kyriakos Souliotis Kyriakos Souliotis is Associate Professor of Health Policy at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the University of Peloponnese. He also teaches courses on health policy, health economics and health care management at the Medical School of the University of Athens and the Medical School of the University of Crete.
Kostas Stamatopoulos Kostas Stamatopoulos is the Director of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at CERTH, the Center for Research and Technology Hellas, in Thessaloniki, Greece. He also holds the positions of Visiting Professor in Lymphoid Tumor Biology at Uppsala University, Uppsala Sweden; and, Research Collaborator of the Hematology Department and HCT Unit at the G. Papanicolaou Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Konstantinos Syrigos Professor Kostas Syrigos graduated from Athens School of Medicine in 1988. He was trained in Internal Medicine at the Laikon University Hospital (Athens University) and in Medical Oncology at the Hammersmith Hospital (Imperial College of Medicine, Sciences & Art, London University).
Nektarios Tavernarakis Nektarios Tavernarakis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), Research Director at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB), and Professor of Molecular Systems Biology at the Medical School of the University of Crete, in Heraklion, Greece.
George Vassilopoulos Dr Vassilopoulos is a Professor of Hematology (U of Thessaly Medical School) and an Affiliate member of BRFAA (Group Leader, Genetics and Gene Therapy Lab). He has earned his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Athens Medical School and a MSc degree in Hematology from the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, UCL.
Athanassios Vozikis Vozikis Athanassios is Assistant Professor of Health Economics and Information Systems at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. He holds a degree in Public Administration from the Panteion University, a M.Sc. in Health Informatics from National Kapodistriako University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Health Economics and Information Systems from the University of Piraeus.
Odysseas Zoras Odysseas Zoras is Professor in Surgical Oncology, University of Crete, Medical School and Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology, University Hospital of Heraklion. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO). Past President of the Hellenic Society of Surgical Oncology (HSSO) and Past Dean of the Medical School, University of Crete, Greece.
